The team at Bo House were very excited to hear all about ‘The Market of Everything’, an event being hosted by Traffic, one of Dubai’s most established galleries. Kicking off today, 12 January 2012, the market style event is a collaboration between the city’s young artists and creative types, and will give visitors the chance to purchase, sell and donate items across 25 different stalls.
Expect everything from designer clothes to books, furniture, toys, music and apparently even pets! With the opening marked by a table tennis tournament, followed by a drum circle, the event promises to be an eclectic mix of art, entertainment and bargain hunting.
Other highlights of the event include the screening of several films such as a three part documentary series entitled All Watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace on 16 January by filmmaker Adam Curtis, a series of artist films which explore the moving image on the 17 January, and on 18 January, a night dedicated to the Future Shorts Film Festival, a global pop up film festivals that showcases award winning,, short films from across the globe.
