Bo House Cafe

Friends, artisans, newbies, neighbours – welcome to the Bo House blog. Those of you unfamiliar with the Bo House, will doubtless be for long. Our chic, Bohemian styled cafe is fast gaining a regular following amongst the cities fashionistas, becoming one of the trendiest places to be seen on JBR Walk. But we’re not here to talk about all the cool people hanging out in our joint! We want to introduce to you the Bo House concept, and let you into our vision for the venue and its future.

So what is Bo House really all about? Well as the name suggests, the venue was designed to evoke a Bohemian like feel, where people would feel inspired. A venue for people to get together, to exchange ideas, to strum a guitar, to write, to draw, or to simply gaze out across the horizon to take in the beautiful sunset, we want the Bo House to become the birthplace for the cities brightest ideas. And over the coming weeks and months you will be seeing some bright ideas from our own team, to transform the Bo House into a melting pot of creativity.

Indeed we have already started out on our mission, with the introduction of our Bo House Book Club. Kicking off yesterday avid readers debated Charlotte Bronte’s novel ‘Jane Eyre’, discussing the ins and outs of her character and a host of other themes, which you can read more about in our Book Club review. We’ve also introduces a funky notice board. (Have you spotted it by our delicious gelato selection?!) A great resource for the local community, come and post what you wish on our board.

So for now that’s a wrap. We hope that you will be visiting us regularly, both in our cafe and here on our blog, to find out what we’re up to next. We also want to hear any of your suggestions, so please send us your comments as we’d love to hear from you.
